Cultural & Social Events for a Cause
On 6th March 2025, members of SLLF UK joined the Sri Lankan community in Wales to celebrate the Sinhala & Tamil New Year Festival. The event was filled with colour, music, cultural performances, and community spirit. Beyond enjoying the festival, SLLF UK representatives engaged attendees in conversations about the Foundation’s work, raising awareness and support for upcoming fundraising initiatives. Through donations, sponsorship pledges, and advertisements, the Foundation secured support for its Annual Fundraising Dinner Dance, ensuring continued aid for Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Sri Lanka.
Impact: Strengthens community connections and directly contributes to fundraising for medical and patient support initiatives.
