Executive members of SLLF UK were invited by His Excellency Rohitha Bogollagama, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the UK, to participate in the Advisory Council meeting at the Sri Lanka High Commission in London. The meeting brought together Sri Lankan business, professional, and community organizations to discuss collaborative support for charitable initiatives. SLLF UK’s President, Ms. Subi Perera, along with past President Dr. Narada Wijeythilake, presented the Foundation’s history, mission, and strategic vision, including the £1 campaign and corporate fundraising initiatives. In a gesture of support, the High Commissioner donated proceeds from Ceylon Tea and Sri Lankan handcrafts sold at the Bedford River Festival, marking the beginning of stronger engagement with corporate and professional donors.
